LITTLE BABIES!!!

September 20, 2007 by Kathryn

My time with Erin and her little babies is drawing to a close. There are signs in abundance that it’s almost time for us to go home for the last time this summer and get back to our normal routines. This afternoon Magoo painted their glass patio door with spinach dip. Laylee bit Magoo’s hand while they were “trying to get to sleep” and told me she did it “just to be mean.” They’re both acting really strangely and I’m starting to think that the world’s most portable kids do not want to be ported all over the face of the earth ANY MORE.

On a more positive note, I fell asleep this afternoon holding both of these in my arms!

The babies are adorable! Your young ‘uns are probably tired of sharing mommy, as well as being toted around. Safe travels home!

    Oh, my goodness! They’re darling!
She wouldn’t miss just one, right?

Sigh. Makes me want to have another one just looking at them… You are a good friend to your friends in need.

Get home safe and sound. (And then hand the kids over to Dan and go take a nice relaxing bath.)

So cute! It ALMOST makes me want another one. Then I remember the late nights. The craziness of trying to adjust… and I think “3 is a good number”…

You’re in BOISE!! Hope you’re having fun. You look like and talk like someone I used to visit when we lived in Orem. Do you have a sister named Jane? Happy trails home.

Poor kids, and poor mum. Sounds like a lovely time apart from the graffiti art and random violence though.

Oh my gosh, the cuteness!!! I love babies!! And, I also love Laylee’s honesty… “I just did it to be mean!”. 🙂

If there is anything I am missing as I see my boys grow is that time when I could fall asleep with a babe in my arms. J4 is getting too big for that.

Laylee’s honesty is great. I remember the not so distant past when J1 would hit J2 and his excuse was, “My hand just slipped.”

The babies are scrumptious! I’m glad you’ll be back home again soon.

Just remember, all kids have off days sometimes, but at least Laylee gets bonus points for total honesty. (I’m guessing that admission was followed by some isolation time….I mean time-out)

    Oh. my. gosh.

    I’ll take one of each.

I am sooooo ready for another baby, and it doesn’t help that these two are extra special.

And I’m not just saying that to be polite. They’re dolls.

Oh, and they look a lot like my son did at that age.

    Waaaaaaaah!!

I want them!!! And I’m not even baby hungry. Pregnant but not baby hungry.
