I can hear myself in my daughter every single day. And some of it is good. And a lot of it is terrifying! My kids are the reflection of myself that I actually pay attention to! I think they help me grow up at least as much as I am trying to help them, and probably more.
I totally understand what you mean! I was actually getting on my computer to write about something similar (how my son acts when he’s sick and how much it reminds me of myself!)….crazy! Kids, huh? I am sure that my post will pale in comparison to how funny yours always are.
HOw on earth do you always know what I am thinking?? I am printing this out for my journal. I may even quote it in a talk…not asking your permission or anything. That was just the best summary of motherhood. It really was:-)
That made me laugh so hard! When my oldest was two he used to say, “You no talka me to!” That meant that we weren’t allowed to talk unless he liked what we were saying.
Was it ever said that childhood was supposed to be fair?
This from the girl whose first complete sentence was, “It’s not fairy fair!”
