When I think of Magoo, I hope I always remember him running down the hill to our house, his fluffy hair bouncing, his little McQueen-crocked feet pumping like bolts of red rubber lightning. I violated my rule of not buying “character” clothes when I saw the look on his face at the shoe store.
They were like the air to him.
It was a good decision.
I never had his baby shoes bronzed. Maybe I’ll do these.

Those are adorable. I must get them for my godson! Did you get them at a national chain?

Anything to make a little boy joyful…And they look so good on the entry rug too.

They all have that one item they will stop breathing if they don’t have!

HAHAHAHA! Clark has those same shoes! I bought them to wear camping because he can shower in them and such… but I’m cool, so I let him wear them in public too.

Ka-CHOW.

It is sooo hard to keep from buying character clothing. My kids adore their various character shirts. At least I can feel good knowing that they will get a lot of use and be handed down to other kids.

I usually don’t buy character shoes either but last time I bought shoes the cheapest ones there were Strawberry Shortcake and they had glitter AND lights…how could I refuse? I really do think they make the kids faster! :0)

My 3-year old has these exact ones – in two different sizes! With my older one, I successfully resisted the brand/character stuff, but with the 2nd, if it gets him dressed peacefully in the morning and in weather-appropriate garb, I’m in. And to see his proud face just melts me.

We have these ones too, and my son calls them his “red car shoes!” with the exclamation mark added of course. He wore them today, in the icy, chilly weather, to his grandparents’ house. I tucked the boots into the diaper bag for him in case he changes his mind!

I have actually resisted these same shoes myself, although we go look at them when strolling the aisles of a certain bullseye store. I was more tempted by the McQueen rain boots, but I’m now so glad I resisted. Nemo has taken over our home. Both of them will say “Moh-oh” before even opening their eyes. I think it’s because there are so many times that the characters say “Daddy” and “no” and “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” which they can both say along with the movie.

My 4 yr old loves his lightnings! It was my ONLY breakdown as well in character attire!

Awe! I can see him in my mind. I LOVE it. 🙂 (and you all) It makes me homesick for you folks, though.

I totally buy the character shoes, and don’t feel the least bit ashamed for doing it, either. Both my boys have these same little beauties. They can put them on themselves. They go with anything (almost) don’t get destroyed if they get wet and wash of so easily when they get dirty. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat!

Ka-CHOW is right, mine are in their second pair! We got ours at Target, and the boys call them their water shoes. They usually wear them in the summer or before-sport shoes that they wear on the way to games, before they put their cleats or basketball shoes on. Bronzing is a good idea 😉

Too cute! I love Crocks! They are so easy to clean when dirty and still cute at the same time!
At least his eyes didn’t light up at the purple dora shoes…that could have caused some concern…very boy! Very nice!

When I think of The Boy, it is always his smile, first every time.
I don’t think I can bronze that one…

Those are just the cutest ever.
