Derek was really surprised that you even had time or energy to write a post. I kept wanting to call you yesterday, but I was afraid you’d be busy, or on the phone with all your other fanclub members, or wiped out on the couch. So how did it go? We’re they nice? Did they make you park your kids in front of the TV to frame you as a negligent techno-addict? Did you really wear lipstick all day? I can’t even keep it on during church. I was thinking about you all day and sending you good vibes.

Sarah – they were actually quite fun and I have very little fear that the short segment will turn into an expose of neglectful moms and their irresponsible internet use.
The whole process was much easier than I thought it would be and I was blessed to feel really comfortable with everything.

For some reason, today I am struck with the rather large impact words have on us. I started reading your blog a year or so ago and I love how you write. Thanks for sharing your life with all of us! Sometimes words are the only thing that help us through our challenges. A year ago I thought blogs were the sport of self-absorbed, lazy, computer-loving weirdos. Your blog showed me how they are really ways to reach out to those we love and those we’ve never met, share our feelings, and receive strength. But I digress… Congratulations on your fame! You deserve it.
