I’m a little south of you (PDX), and I saw my breath while walking the kids to school this morning and felt the same way you do, but by the time I picked the kids up this afternoon I had scrapped the hoodie and was wishing for shorts. It was weird.
Mother Nature needs to make up her mind.

Over a month ago, in August, I saw my breath inside my car while on my way to work. My thoughts were: 1. I need a car with a better heater. 2. Canada is cold.
Yeah. Summer is my favorite season, and I wish it could last forever. My parents are in town visiting, and we were all sitting around commenting about the lovely-for-October weather, and then they had to RUIN it for me by saying that a REALLY NASTY winter is predicted for the Pac NW. I was less than enthused. I still haven’t recovered from the 8-ft snowdrifts of two winters ago and being stuck inside for a week-and-a-half. I’m sure my kids will love it, though, just as I would have when I was a kid. 🙂 I’ll have to try to see the wonder and magic of it all from their perspectives.
