I got a wicked blister this week from peeling too many potatoes and carrots. Dan says I must have soft delicate computer programmer hands like him. And that’s funny.
The problem is – I am not a computer programmer. I am a mom. Shouldn’t a mom have calloused hands, worn tough from performing good mom-ish works?
This reminds me. It’s about that time of year anyway. I should check to see if the bathrooms need cleaning… and then add that to Laylee’s chore chart.

I think the sign of a good mom is soft, uncalloused hands…..and I am sticking to that!!

If it’s not to that point, it’s not that time of year. you know what that means.

It left out my **Wavy Hand** comment at the beginning.

The only thing it’s a sign of is a bad veg peeler. You should get one with a fat, rubbery handle– OXO makes one like that and I thiink pretty cheap. That way when you train L up on peeling veggies, she won’t blister either!

Lol! I’m looking forward to Sunshine being old enough to at least clean up after herself, but cleaning bathrooms would be nice, too.
Oh, and I do like my Oxo potato peeler. Even when it gives me blisters from too much peeling. (Never make four apple pies in one afternoon. Ouch! Or maybe I’m just a wimp with wimpy hands.)
