    HAHA!

I love that! Of course, I’m the weird kid who likes sprouts, but I know that most people think they are balls of death.

That is HILARIOUS! My husband will fully appreciate this sign. He thinks they’re pretty much as described.

    Seriously though, so funny 🙂

Brilliant! Although my nine-year-old would take issue with that. He loves Brussels sprouts. Weird, huh?

I so totally agree. My mom used to make them from frozen when I was growing up, and they were always hot on the outside and frozen inside. GAG!!

I see they’re strictly adhering to the “truth in advertising” concept.

That is so funny. Why would anyone buy them? I wrote today about “truth in advertising” at the grocery store, too, so that seemed extra funny to me.

I LOVE that place. Good thing I don’t live in Seattle or I’d be there every day spending money I don’t have… on LITTLE GREEN BALLS OF DEATH. ahahahaha…

Ahhh. So true. There is not enough cheese sauce in the world to hide the flavor of those little babies.

That’s awesome! I wonder if it’s helped their sales at all? Of course, my family loves the sprouts; even my 4 year old.

I’ve heard that roasting them greatly improves their flavor, but have yet to try it. I hated them as a kid, but my step-mom loved them. She always fixed another veg for the rest of us when she made them for herself. I think I’m inspired to try them now. I shall roast little green balls of death and conquer them!

Hee hee. Someday let me tell you the tale of the “Hawaiian Papaya” we bought once!

THAT is high-larious. I would be forced to buy them if I saw that, though I’ve never even tried brussell sprouts.

Love that they really put that down in writing and didn’t just say it! Love that you captured it and shared.

What a great sign! I love Pike Market; last November I flew to Seatlle from my home in the northeast for my brother’s wedding on Whidbey Island and spent the day I had for sightseeing at the Pike place market. What a great place; thanks for bringing back great memories!
